We currently have an opening for a Director, Career Services in our Career Services department.
The Director, Career Services will provide supervision and oversight of all Lighthouse placement and supported programs, eSight Career Network Service, Graduate Equivalency Diploma Program, and the Assistive Technology Program.

Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate services appropriate to supporting the placement , assistive technology and GED programs
• Direct content development for the eSight Careers Network service
• Supervise and train Employment Specialists and Job Coaches in all aspects of job development
• Work closely with CBVH to evaluate and identify viable candidates for after school and summer placement/internships
• Create relationships with employers in the community to obtain internships and paid employment for transition age youth
• Work with the Development Department to secure funds for new and existing job training and placement services
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling or related field with at least 7 years of experience in supervision in program administration. In addition, the Director will have knowledge of placement strategies for employment of people with visual impairment.
